Elective course aimed at studying the historical development of piano technique through the different eras of the history of music. The evolution of keyboard instruments, specifically the piano, and the impact they had on the development of the repertoire and schools of piano technique from the 18th century onwards will be discussed. (Prerequisites: none)
Academic degree requirement:
Have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, equivalent university degree in music or those comparable offered by universities.
