Facilities

The Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music is centrally located in the Miramar area, Santurce sector, close to the tourist area of San Juan. The privileged location of the institution provides a rich spectrum of cultural, social and educational activities for students. Its proximity to the Condado area, old San Juan, the Convention Center and the port area provides an ideal location to satisfy all the tastes and needs of students.

The Santurce sector has varied neighborhoods of multiple economic and social levels, providing an accessible source of accommodation for students.

Access

Public transportation provides continuous access to Miramar from all points in the metropolitan area. Whether by bus, urban train or car, any method of transportation will provide you with easy access to the central location of the Conservatory in Miramar.

Cultural life

In the area, students will find a wide variety of shops, cinemas, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, beauty salons, music stores, churches of various denominations, as well as many other facilities and businesses that will allow them to satisfy their basic needs while they study. The cultural life of the sector is rich due to its diversity of activities. Concerts, ballet, opera, theater, festivals and other types of events are just a part of the Puerto Rican cultural life that the Santurce sector offers. The Luis A. Ferré Fine Arts Center, the Francisco Arriví and Victoria Espinosa theaters, the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico and the Museum of Contemporary Art, are located just steps from the Conservatory.
