The graduate of this specialty:

You will implement basic concepts, tools, techniques and procedures to create a composition from concept to finished product.
It will demonstrate skills in the use of musical notation and synthesis programs.
You will create works in a variety of forms, styles, and musical notation.
You will master the technique of writing scores appropriate to each style or historical period.
You will demonstrate business skills in order to organize musical events and concerts.
