The main objective of this area of study is to introduce students to learning an instrument at an early age, based on the philosophy of the Suzuki method; in which every child has the potential to learn an instrument in an environment where parents are integrated into the teaching-learning process, becoming an active collaborator during the process.
The philosophy establishes that the child can learn to play a musical instrument in the same way that he learns language, through repetition. We work as a team to guarantee better results. The teacher guides both the child and the parent in learning the instrument. The parent has the responsibility to continue learning at home. The child learns about his instrument while beginning to develop his love and respect for music.
The Preparatory School offers, through the Suzuki philosophy, teaching in the following instruments: Violin, viola, cello, piano, flute and classical guitar.
