The Pre-University Studies program is aimed at adolescents and young people between 12 and 18 years old. The main objective of this area is to expand and deepen the musical training received, directing it towards professional studies in music. Students will work on repertoire of intermediate difficulty, both in individual class and as a group. In Fundamentals of Music, they will acquire knowledge and skills of theory, reading and auditory discrimination, necessary for professional training. Admission to the program is by audition and promotion from one grade to another is done by evaluating progress in all areas. The contents of the program are periodically reviewed and adjusted according to the curriculum of the undergraduate musical baccalaureate programs.
Classical Singing, Bassoon, Classical Percussion, French Horn, Cello, Flute, Organ, Trumpet, Clarinet, Classical Guitar, Piano, Tuba, Double Bass, Harp, Saxophone, Violin, Cuatro, Oboe, Trombone and Viola.
