Tutoring Program

The Tutoring Program aims to strengthen the skills necessary to promote student success in various academic areas. The program's primary objective will be to offer individual and group tutoring to undergraduate students in the areas of language, keyboard skills, music theory, and music theory. It is a priority for the Conservatory to support, guide, and monitor students' university progress in order to contribute to their comprehensive education. Tutoring will be offered free of charge to all students. The program's offerings may vary by academic year. Information is available on the official CMPR website.

Requirements

  • Be a student at the CMPR undergraduate level
  • Be enrolled in any of the following courses in accordance with the tutoring request made:

Tutoring request process

Complete the tutoring request form available in the Moodle Student Resources section and/or from the Dean of Student Affairs.

Other important data

  • Individual tutoring may be offered.
  • Group tutoring may be offered with a maximum of four (4) students.
  • Faculty members and the professional advisor may make referrals to recommend tutoring to a student. They must complete a form available in the Dean of Academic and Student Affairs and/or in the Faculty Resources section in Moodle.
  • Tutorial location: The Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music will make spaces available in the Learning Resources Center and/or rooms in the Historic Building by reservation.
