Jazz in the Afternoon Billboard

The activities of Jazz in the Afternoon, an event held once a month in our facilities overlooking the lagoon, offers a vibrant display of the talent of our students from the Jazz Department and invited graduates. During the event, attendees can enjoy live performances by the most select of our jazz students, who explore from the most traditional roots to the most contemporary fusions. With an intimate and educational atmosphere, the event allows participants to not only listen to high-quality performances, but also to interact with the artists through talks about improvisation, technique and the history of jazz. This meeting consolidates the Conservatory as a key space for the dissemination and enrichment of jazz music in Puerto Rico, promoting both the learning and enjoyment of this constantly evolving genre.
