History of the cultural origin of popular music created in the geographic area of the Caribbean, its development, instrumentalists, vocalists, composers, styles and characteristics that define them.

(Prerequisites: HIST 4001)

Academic degree requirement:

Have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, equivalent university degree in music or those comparable offered by universities.
