The course will provide an in-depth study of Intellectual Property, which is the facet of Law that protects creations that are the product of the mind and ideas. It includes several categories: copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, the right to one's own image and patents. Copyright is the right held over an original, independent work captured in a tangible medium.
(Prerequisites: MUBS 3001).
Academic degree requirement:
Bachelor's degree in music, arts, business administration, communications, social sciences or cultural management.
