CHANGES TO HEALTH MEASURES DUE TO COVID-19 IN THE CMPR (OE-2022-019 and OA2022-533)

In accordance with OA2022-533 issued by the Department of Health of Puerto Rico, in accordance with OE2022-019 of the Governor of Puerto Rico, they leave it to the discretion of each government entity to implement the health measures that they deem necessary.

As mentioned above and reiterating our priority of protecting the health and safety of our students, employees and community in general, the Conservatory of Music will continue with the following measures:

  • The use of a mask will be mandatory in classrooms, offices and closed places within the Institution when it is not clear that the people present are vaccinated (it will be optional in outdoor areas).
  • Mass activities carried out in theaters, amphitheaters and meeting rooms may be carried out at the maximum permitted capacity and the use of a mask will be mandatory.
  • In the case of employees and students suspected of being exposed or infected with the virus, the current established quarantine and isolation measures will continue.
  • Students over 16 years of age and under 21 years of age (inclusive) will be subject to mandatory vaccination, so they must present evidence of the three doses against COVID or a medical or religious exception before the March 25, 2022 to the Registrar's office, if you have not already delivered it.

However, the requirements for compulsory vaccination, presentation of an immunization certificate (COVID-19 VACCINATION Record Card” or “Vacu ID”), and weekly negative results from a qualified viral test will be void for employees and contractors of the institution. and medical and religious exemptions starting Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

These measures are subject to change in accordance with the restrictions imposed by executive and administrative orders of the Governor of Puerto Rico and the Department of Health, respectively.

We urge you to continue with the following health measures:
Minimum physical distancing of six (6) feet
Wash your hands regularly with soap and water or use disinfectant or alcohol
