The Conservatory of Music has begun the process of producing the institutional self-study report; report that will be presented to the accrediting agency Middle State Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) in 2020. For these purposes, the rector has convened a team of 25 people representing sectors of the faculty, administrative employees, alumni, students and members of the Board of Directors of the Conservatory.
Over the next few months, multiple drafts of the self-study will be presented to the broader community. Once we submit the final draft to the accreditation agency, we will receive a visit from MSCHE for the accreditation process. This visit will take place during the second semester 2019–20.
We wish to integrate the entire Conservatory community in this process, which is why we present before you the self-study design—approved by the Commission—which serves as a guide for the final report. We would like to hear your comments and reactions via email: oii@cmpr.edu.
