The Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music (CMPR) is committed to academic honesty and integrity throughout its community. The CMPR guarantees that the student enrolled in distance education programs is the same one who participates in the courses and obtains grades and credits. The Information Systems Office is in charge of ensuring the proper use of information and security systems on the CMPR electronic platforms and the Registrar's Office is in charge of ensuring the privacy of students' academic records. Secure access is ensured by providing complex credentials and passwords on all technology platforms used in distance education. The student identity verification process will begin in the Admissions Office once the required documentation is received and candidates go through the synchronous virtual interview process to be chosen. Once admitted, each candidate will receive a student number, a Microsoft 365 institutional email account, a user to enter the JKG enrollment system and a user to access the courses in Moodle. Students will have the opportunity to modify their passwords following security parameters after providing unique information that proves their identity.
On the other hand, the faculty of distance learning courses will implement strategies to verify the identity of students until the completion of their studies.
Important notes:
There are no charges for student identity verification.
Distance education students should familiarize themselves with the policies related to the subject such as the Distance Education Policy, the Information Systems Use Policy and the Academic Honesty Policy published on our website.
