CMPR Jazz Band in Together for Pink

On Thursday, March 26, 2026, as part of the "Together for Pink" event, our Jazz Band performed at the Popular Plaza in the T-Mobile District. This outstanding performance featured a musical repertoire curated specifically for the occasion by the band, directed by Dr. Elías Santos Celpa.

The official launch of the initiative Together for Pink 2026, It is an awareness and fundraising effort that celebrated its tenth anniversary benefiting Susan G. Komen Puerto Rico and the American Cancer Society. As part of this launch, the «Together for the Rosa Fashion Show 2026″, A catwalk with a purpose, starring women cancer survivors who showcased the designs of twenty renowned and emerging designers, including: Carlota Alfaro, Gustavo Arango, Lisa Capalli, David Antonio, Eddie Guerrero, Marcos Carrazana, Jaer Cabán, José Raúl, among other designers.

For the first time, the event integrated live music performed by students from the Jazz Band of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, incorporating young and local talent as part of this experience.

We are very honored to have participated in such an important activity and reiterate our commitment to the development of our students and to supporting such noble causes as this one.
