About the Concentration of Piano Performance and Pedagogy

The Master of Music program with a concentration in Piano Performance and Pedagogy is designed to offer pianists a curriculum that simultaneously strengthens their artistic and technical piano performance skills, while providing them with a solid and specialized training in piano pedagogy at all levels of teaching.

The graduate of this specialty:

  • He will demonstrate a high level in the performance of advanced piano repertoire and of different styles.
  • He will demonstrate extensive knowledge of piano literature, educational methods and materials, and technologies applicable to piano teaching.
  • It will demonstrate the ability to select, plan, sequence, and utilize these skills in training and develop a solid technical and musical foundation for students.
  • He will demonstrate verifiable pedagogical skills in teaching piano to children, young people and adults, both individually and in groups.
