This thematic course is based on the fundamental theoretical principles of the disciplines that comprise musical aesthetics. It examines the most significant moments in the history of musical aesthetics and the fundamental theoretical and systematic problems of the subject, applying this knowledge to areas of specialization within music, such as composition, performance, music education, and musicology, among others. (Prerequisites: REMEHIST or TMUS 3012)

Academic degree requirement:

Have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, equivalent university degree in music or those comparable offered by universities.
