(Required course for students majoring in Music Education, elective music course for other majors, 1 hour per week, group, 1 credit)

This course will equip future classroom teachers with the necessary skills for improvising accompaniments to the traditional Puerto Rican school song repertoire through a practical approach to harmony and general music theory on the keyboard. (Prerequisites: PLAB 3002/TMUS 3002/SOLF 3002)

Academic degree requirement:

Have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, equivalent university degree in music or those comparable offered by universities.
