The Music Education Forum is the oldest space created for the professional development of music educators. Founded in 1982 by the late Professor Nellie Justicia, a renowned Puerto Rican music educator, the Music Education Forum aims to offer the latest trends in national and international music education, train educators in contemporary methodologies and movements related to the profession, and present the transcurricular relationships between music and other fields of knowledge and sociocultural activity. The Music Education Forum is held annually on the first weekend of October in plenary and concurrent sessions, and each year the activities revolve around a general theme. This year the Music Education Forum will take place on January 16th and 17th. (Prerequisites: none)

Academic degree requirement:

Have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, equivalent university degree in music or those comparable offered by universities.
