Analytical and compositional approach course that explores harmonic and melodic aspects, as well as considerations of form and texture in relation to three fundamental areas within the field of atonal music: free atonality, centric music and twelve-tone music, using for this the theory of “sound sets” or “pitch-class set theory.” (Prerequisites: REMETEOR or TMUS 3012)

Academic degree requirement:

Have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, equivalent university degree in music or those comparable offered by universities.
