Communiqué to the Student Community

Booster vaccination in students according to Executive Order #OE-2021-082

With the objective of starting our academic semester ready to continue facing the COVID-19 pandemic, we inform you that it is a requirement for all active students of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, present the test of the booster dose against COVID-19. This is required by Executive Order #OE-2021-082.

We remind you that a person is considered eligible to receive the booster dose when they meet the following conditions:

    • If you were vaccinated against COVID with the Pfizer-Bio Tech and Moderna vaccines, after at least (5) five months have passed since receiving your last dose.
    • If you were vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Johnson & Johnson Jansen vaccine, at least two (2) months have passed since receiving your last dose.

Students who are in the registration process will be able to continue the same. However, all students are required to submit their booster dose test on or before January 31, 2022. vacunasestudiantes@cmpr.pr.gov. If you are still not eligible to receive the booster dose, you will have a period of (30) days, from when you are eligible, to present the required evidence.

The student who takes advantage of his right not to be vaccinated for medical reasons or religious convictions, You must present a negative COVID-19 result on the first day of each work week, resulting from a qualified SARS-CoV2 viral test (nucleic acid amplification tests ("NAAT") or antigen tests) performed within a maximum of seventy-two (72) hours prior.

As part of our effort to keep our community healthy, the Conservatory will host the VOICES Foundation, who will be providing immunization for our community at our campus on the day Wednesday, January 19.

We are very proud because the Conservatory Community has been very diligent in following health measures during this pandemic. Let's continue collaborating to avoid infections in our premises.
