PERIOD TO APPLY FOR A STUDENT LOAN FOR THE 2021-2022 ACADEMIC YEAR

Students interested in requesting a student loan to pay their tuition for the 2021-2022 academic year can stop by the office from Wednesday, August 4, 2021 to Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the following hours from 8:00 am to 12:00 M and from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Students will not be attended outside of these hours. Remember that the first requirement is to have filed the FAFSA application and submit any documentation that be requested. Evidence of income for 2019, copies of returns for 2019 in case you and/or your parents have filed it or be required.

Until you complete both documents, we cannot process any request. The system corroborates with the database (COD) of the Federal Department of Education and does not allow your request to be processed. Remember that to enter the system you will need your credential (FSA ID) that you used to complete the FAFSA. If you need to request it, go to the FAFSA page and request your credential (FSA USER ID) and select a password that you remember easily. Your loan application cannot be processed until we receive confirmation. If you have requested the loan in previous years at the Conservatory, it is very important that you go to the page and verify that your promissory note is active. When filling out the promissory note there are two options, a promissory note that is valid for one year only and another that lasts up to ten years. Check carefully which one you completed. We always recommend that you make sure to complete the one you have validity of 10 years.
