RELEASE:
TO THE COMMUNITY OF THE PUERTO RICO CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC
The Rector of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, Dr. Manuel Calzada informs you that, to
protect our students from any mishap that may occur when traveling to our
campus, we are declaring an academic recess for tomorrow, August 16. We postpone our start of classes until Tuesday, August 17.
For this reason, both our students and our faculty are excused from work tomorrow.
Non-teaching employees must attend work, as usual, with the exception of those who, due to inclement weather, are forced to stay at their residence. If this occurs, the employee is responsible for notifying his or her direct supervisor.
We ask you to be aware of changes that may arise, as a result of new information from the Emergency Management Bureau and instructions from Governor Pedro Pierluisi.
