CMPR quality recognized by award-winning writer

The educational excellence of The Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music has been recognized once again.

This time by the award-winning writer Edgardo Rodríguez Juliá
in his Saturday column in El Nuevo Día.

In this article the writer tells us about his experience during one of the Sunday concerts in the series CMPR Family Concerts. It highlights the participation of the extraordinary talent of our students and recognizes the immense contribution of the teachers.

«In such concerts I have heard all of Beethoven's trios performed according to the mastery of three great musicians, the Sanromá Trio, composed of Francisco Cabán on the violin, Luis Miguel Rojas on the cello and Diana Figueroa on the piano, all of them professors at the Conservatory.

But this time what I want to highlight are the student concerts, the effort of those young people dedicated to mastering the art of playing music on an instrument, learning that requires long years of patience and discipline. The Conservatory's Youth Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of maestro Roselin Pabón, performs Brahms' Second Symphony and I think that, apart from a few details, it is an interpretation worthy of any Central American or Caribbean symphony hall.»

We thank Mr. Rodríguez Julía for such a generous review and we reaffirm our commitment to top-level musical education that has always characterized our institution.
