Bach Piano Festival

The Conservatory had the opportunity to host the residency of Professor Golda Vainberg-Tatz of the Julliard School faculty, the Pre-University Division at the Manhattan School of Music, among other programs, for the Bach Piano Festival. This initiative was established by professor María del Carmen Gil, together with the professors of the Piano Department.

With four master classes, with the participation of students of different levels from High School to various years of the university program, they worked with pieces by the composer Johann Sebastian Bach in celebration of his 337 years. His residency culminated with a concert, where students performed various works by Bach. Ms. Vainberg-Tatz closed the concert by performing the Sonata in D minor BWV 1003 for the delight of the audience present.

The Conservatory appreciates and promotes projects like this, which allow our students to have experiences with international artists, thus opening up their professional scope.
