Get to know the Amaury Veray Library

The Library of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music was founded in 1959 and in 1995, it was baptized as the Amaury Veray Library in memory of the Puerto Rican composer and faculty member, the Professor Amaury Veray. Since the founding of the institution, the Amaury Veray Library has been an integral part of the music program.

With a diversity of technological resources and various collections and information services available to its users, the Amaury Veray Library serves the undergraduate and graduate programs, the Preparatory School and all programs of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, in addition to the general public. .

Mission

The mission of the Amaury Veray Library is to offer support to the academic programs of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, providing access to information, multimedia services, technology and musical resources that enrich teaching, learning, research and enjoyment of the musical arts, contributing to the academic, social and cultural development of our university community and the external community.

Vision

The vision of the Amaury Veray Library is to be a dynamic and innovative center with the information, musical bibliographic resources and technology necessary to support the mission of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music

Angel Ramos Foundation

The Amaury Veray Library is one of the four components of the Ángel Ramos Foundation Learning Resources Center. The mission of CRAFAR is to provide services, information, media and musical resources that facilitate the teaching, learning, research and enjoyment of the musical arts of our academic community and the general public, in addition to promoting the integration of the use of technology in the classroom.
