Information competencies

The Library provides bibliographic guidance and instructions services adapted to specific research topics (course) or work, these can be requested from the librarian in charge either in person or by telephone (787) 751-0160, ext. 256 or via email at sgonzalez@cmpr.pr.gov.

Teacher Reserve

This reserve is made up of materials that are property of the library and that the professor separates for use in his courses during the semester. They also include materials that are owned by teachers for use by their students. The teacher can contact the librarian in charge of the circulation area and provide the list of resources to be included in their reserve. In the list you must specify the teacher's name, course number and course title.

Purchase recommendations

Faculty and other members of the academic community can make their resource purchase recommendations by email to the purchasing assistant librarian (otoro@cmpr.pr.gov), to the Director of the Library (mcmaldon@cmpr.pr.gov) or in person in an interview with the assistant purchasing librarian.

Video camera loan

We have a video camera available for faculty to use in their courses. The teacher must reserve the camera three days in advance. The camera is loaned for a period of three hours. The loan is processed with the Coordinator of Audiovisual Media Services, by email to: Serviciosaudiovisuales@cmpr.pr.gov or by phone (787) 751-0160 ext. 298.
